I added BABIP by request. Right now Heck, Robson, and Gridley are flat out dominating, and they have all the stats to go along with it. As you can see though, we have many others performing quite well in many areas.

*RC/4 = (Runs Created / Plate Appearances) * 4... The purpose of this stat is to show an estimated number of runs created a player would produce for a typical game they play in (assuming 4 plate appearances per game).

Thanks, even Cohen in his interview said when we get Collins, Rea and Smith back...

He can't wait either.

How Humphreys has 11 K's, really need him to put the bat on the ball more often.

Humphreys will strike out a lot, but he'll also be one of our leaders in the power dept. as well. I wouldn't worry too much about his stats.

Yep. Strikeouts are up across the board in baseball as a whole. I won't say they aren't bad, but they certainly aren't as big a deal as they used to be.

It seems concerning, but all his other numbers are really good. He is 4th on the team in walks and hits, so it's interesting to see that he's first in Ks.

I understand he may be prone to striking out but you can't be striking out over a third of your plate appearances against the quality of pitching we've seen the past 2 weekends. That does not bode well for him when he starts seeing SEC pitching.

Hump watches too many third strikes but the ones I've seen they were outside edge. Still he needs to fight.

He definitely got some bad calls, at least in the first few games. He does need to strike out less, but as has been pointed out, he's also walking a lot, and when he makes contact he usually makes very good contact.

Pitching will get tougher, but he will also continue to gain more experience. He just didn't get all that many ABs last year, so he's still learning.
