Bobby Bowden would say it, but he'd say it as a compliment to his players. He also said it after he had become the second winningest coach of all time, so he had some credibility established.

It is hilarious that Freeze re-tweeted it. Aside the fact that he gets paid $4M and his title is "head coach", not "head recruiter", he's giving a pitch that any thinking person would take to be against UM. If what matters is having the best talent, not coaching, then recruits that want to win a national championship should be hoping that Bama, OSU, LSU, etc. give them a call, b/c Ole Miss is never going to have the most talented team in the country.
