Did Styx ever welcome Dennis DeYoung back? I don't want to see Tommy Shaw and four guys I've never heard of.

Not making either of those but me and the wife will be in Robinsonville on April 10 to see Jonny Lang at the Horseshoe/Bluesville Theater. Pretty pumped about that show.
Saw DF in Charlotte about 1988, excellent show, non-stop energy no doubt.
Saw Styx a couple of times in the late 70's/early 80's, Pieces of Eight tour was very good, the Paradise Theater tour show I saw didn't go over real well, they were trying to pull off a Who like Tommy rock opera. Tommy Shaw is very accomplished and well worth the price of admission by himself.

Nahh! Don't think they ever worked out their differences, and from what I have read I kind of doubt it will ever happen.

I had similar thoughts until I saw them this past summer in Memphis. Best ... Concert ... EVER!

Tommy and JY can still rock it. The new guys sound great and did justice to several songs Dennis used to sing.

The concert was primarily Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight with a few songs from Paradise Theater and Crystal Ball thrown in, with a couple of covers to boot.

KISS and they were awesome.........Plus, I'm getting to go see Foreigner and Night Ranger in May in Southaven.......Foreigner should be in the RnR HoF, IMO but the HoF is a joke......

I would love to see DL. Saw KISS and Motley Crue at the Oakmountain Amphitheater in Pelham a couple years ago and they were both awesome.

What day is that and are there tickets left? I'd love to see Foreigner, although I've heard Night Ranger sucks now.

going to see Ron White in Tupelo in April, Foreigner/Night Ranger in Southaven in May and DL/Styx/Tesla in B'ham in June........My concert budget is about maxed out........

We went almost 20 years w/o there being very many concerts at the Hump I've forgotten what it was like.......Just had Jack White and now ZZ Top.........I've seen many "Music Maker Productions" concerts at the Hump in the 80's and 90's so I'm glad to see some concerts coming back.......

Til this day I still say the best concert at the hump was the Bon Jovi "Slippery when wet" tour.....Cinderella opened and I still have the ticket stub from February 11, 1987.........Good times.....
