That's a pretty good group. This was a really good year to go big in-state. If Riley shows up and we get another couple out of the group of highly rated guys (Fenter, Padgett, Pickett, Ford, Marrero, Small), then that is a ridiculous class.

They feel really good about keeping marrero. We just need to hope we don't get swept and lose all the others. I think we hang onto 2-3 of the others. Anything more than that is gravy. It's a great class, as you said, and deep even beyond the guys mentioned

I've never seen him play so I have no idea if that is an accurate comparison but I would think he would be farther along than renfroe when he shows up. Obviously his talent ended up shining thru but the absolute lack of coaching and competition at the high school level was a major hindrance to hunter his first 2 years.

The kid can do everything. He can pitch, play 3rd, play outfield, and he can hit with power.

I've heard some people say that Riley really wants to play in college, but I have no idea if that's true. My guess is that we lose Pickett and at least one of the Fenter/Ford duo. Still, as you said, if we can get Riley, Marrero, and Smart, for instance, that is still beyond fantastic.
