A friend just told me he had to have emergency surgery because of the spot he got hit yesterday. Haven't seen anyone mention it

Cohen just said that he did get hit but was only held out today. He will be back this weekend. Wow .. nice rumor about one of our players. Stop being like the Bears and deal with the facts.

Paul jones just said Cohen confirmed surgery. Said Wes would be back maybe by next weekend

You wouldn't be purposefully overly dramatic now would you?

Minor procedure to relieve swelling. Could be back on Tuesday but will probably be held out till Friday...

Man, we've had more than our fair share of injuries these first couple of weeks. That's now three starters who are going to miss time.

Probably relief of potential compartment syndrome. Entails a simple incision to relieve the pressure in the affected area. Shin area is most common.

Yes, it was compartment syndrome. I've never seen it in a situation like this. You see it more after fractures.

Not quite. The surgery for compartment syndrome is a fasciotomy.
