Why is it that our illustrious SEC basketball play by play guys/gals are constantly

exclaiming " Great steal " when a player makes a bad pass or dribbles it off their own foot. Seems like one would call it what it is.

Yep. Another one like that I hate is how they're always saying "[player] shoots... blocked, but fouled." No, he was just fouled.

One I hate is when fans or such yell angrily BLOCK OUT! or REBOUND! when the ball bounces like 25 feet off the rim back to the 3 point line
