Nor do they curl when their man makes a one consistently, flare when he shoots the gap, or skip the ball against zones. It's basic stuff we lack that's sad this deep into ray coaching most of these guys

Half the time we don't get an open shot, a closed shot, a damn flu shot. We turn it over wayyyy to much for a team not starting 5 true freshman. It's sad

Pretty much. The truth is, our defensive numbers are much more about the SEC just being plain terrible in fundamental basketball, and less to do with how we scheme them and play half-court D.

I remember a time when the hump would be packed and our basketball team was good and fun to watch. God I miss the showdown with Kentucky in 2010 when the hump was rocking. I'm afraid I'll never see that type of team or atmosphere again for a while. Well at least not while Ray is the coach. I miss having a good basketball team so bad.

Ware might've been Stans' recruit but he was a high 3*/low 4* recruit that is going on 3 years learning from Ray (his whole career).

Stans had to go and I'm no Stans apologist, but no way to can spin our shooting problems on stands.
