2004 slugfest between the Dawgs and Bama in Basketball. Overtime 81-80 win on the road by the Dawgs after being down by 16 in the 2nd half. Bowers shot sending it into OT was a monster. Damn, the good ole days of an SEC championship season - with Bowers, Roberts, Power, Vincent, Frazier and the rest. We went 8-0 on the road that year, 25-2 overall. I sure wish that bus would come around again.

Watched it on the SEC channel before our game Saturday. Then watched the 1st half of our game. Depressing.

My opinion.

The 2004 SEC championship team's 4th and 5th starters were better than the 1996 team but in the Final Four year we had 3 players (Erick Dampier, Dontae Jones and Daryl Wilson) that would have starter for any college team in America.

Bullard was a great player, but he really had an off game against Syracuse, and that probably cost us the championship.
