For someone who knows about these years, can you give a quick look at the players that are supposed to be good and who has the inside track on them at this point. I know its really early. I can look them up, if you just give names. I have no idea.

I wish that was the case for 2016..... It's gonna be a tough recruiting year. 2017 will be better.

We need that RB from Clinton. I think he's 2017 and I think he's favoring us too

OM will "win" the instate battle in 2016. We'll still have a good class but be ready for them to boast about "winning" in state.

2017 is supposed to go back to us.

Don't count on just yet.

I was just at a store and saw this (no joke)...

This is a clear sign that OM will have a bad '15 on the field and '16 recruiting class***

It'll be tough by message board standards. We'll fill needed spots like offensive line, dline, dbs, a big WR and olbs. and depending on who leaves next year, we may only sign 20. I bet we get a few louisiana boys soon though.

I agree. I think it will end up between 2014 and 2015, which will be a very good class. But yes, Ole Miss will probably end up with a great class, so we just need to prepare for that.

We can still finish with a solid class without having to take majority of kids from MS. We raided AL this year and have begun to really make a name for ourselves over here. We've got a couple already signed from AL for 2016 and I know we are on plenty more.

We've also shown we can go into LA and take high quality talent. No longer are the days where it's MS kids or bust. Now don't get me wrong, I really like filling up our class with MS kids. But it's not a requirement for a great class.

Stole this from N'foom. Supposedly the cost of attendance figures that schools will use to supplement athletes. Honestly, I hope it is accurate. We can't argue with these numbers. We're $626 more per year than OM. Divide that by 12 and we can offer players $52 more per month than them. To high school kids with next to nothing, this is a lot of money.

$1446 more per year than LSU. $1828 more than Bama.

Hope it's true.

Alabama: $3,298
Arkansas: $4,002
Auburn: $5,586
Florida: $3,320
Georgia: $1,798
Kentucky: $3,536
LSU: $3,680
Mississippi: $4,500
Mississippi State: $5,126
Missouri: $3,664
South Carolina: $4,151
Tennessee: $5,666
Texas A&M: $3,100
Vanderbilt: $2,730

I can't vouch for the entire list being correct. With that said ours is correct. And I knew that ole miss was several hundred less than us. So it could all be spot on. What helps is baseball. If a baseball guy is on 50% of a scholarship, then he would receive half of the number above, etc. That's a big deal for us.

The numbers for Vandy and UGA look odd. Anyone know who comes up with these numbers and what all is included in the figure?
