I always like doing this on signing day by taking today's class and looking back to last years class along with redshirts to make a football team. I included guys that have gone to Juco that we placed and expect to return... Also Donald Gray because he has three to play.. Of course we will add some here and there but here's a decent shot at what we will look like in 2017 when the guys today are third year players.

QB: Nick Fitzgerald/ Tiano or Staley
RB: Aeries Williams/ Dontavian Lee/ Nick Gibson/ Alec Murphy
All Purpose line up everywhere Guy: Malik Dear
TE: Dontae Jones and Farrod Green/ BJ Hammond (we may get Ravian Pierce back)
Slot: Donald Gray/ Gabe Myles/ Jamoral Graham/ Keith Mixon/ Dedrick Thomas
X Receiver: Jesse Jackson/ Justin Johnson/ Jonas Spivey/ Shelby Christie
T: Elgton Jenkins/ Harrison Moon/ Ronald Cochran/ Tommy Champion
G: Jake Thomas/ Kent Flowers/ Michael Story/ (Maybe Jordan Harris)
C: Darryl Williams/ Deion Calhoun

DE: Keith Joseph/ Grant Harris/ Kendall Jones and Anfernee Mullins
DT: TD Moton/ Corey Thomas/ Braxton Hoyette/ Fletcher Adams
OLB: Tim Washington/ Mark McLaurin/ JT Gray/ Dez Harris/ (Deshon Cooper is recommitted)
MLB: Gerri Green/ Leo Lewis
S: Jamal Peters/ Brandon Bryant/ Brandon Wells (JT Gray could end up here too)
CB: Stamps/ Smitherman/ Rayford/ Durr/ Irvin Sills (Odd man out at slot could end up here too maybe Deddrick?)

Obviously there will be defections, standout freshmen that will play, and a few Juco adds but thats a pretty freaking good team.

Yep. We've begun to consistently bring in really balanced classes, which is great. It was annoying to have a bunch of guys at one position leave at once and have to devote an abnormally large percentage of a signing class to those positions.

Every class should have several quality OL and DL, several good offensive skill guys (including at least one QB), a couple of good LBs, and several in the secondary. We're doing that every year now.

In this class alone, just look at the quality of talent everywhere:

QB - Nick Tiano, good developmental guy
RB - Nick Gibson, Alec Murphy; very solid
Slot - Malik Dear, Deddrick Thomas, Keith Mixon; sick
WR - Donald Gray, Jonnas Spivey, Justin Johnson; good
TE - Dontea Jones, Farrod Green
OL - Martinas Rankin, Darryl Williams, Harrison Moon, Michael Story, (Tommy Champion); very, very good

DL - Fletcher Adams, TD Moton, Keith Joseph, Kendell Jones, Anfernee Mullins, Johnathan Calvin; very, very good
LB - Leo Lewis, Tim Washington, Traver Jung - sick
CB - Chris Stamps, Maurice Smitherman - sick
S - Jamal Peters, Mark McLaurin - beyond sick

That defense is gonna be nasty in a few years. Mullen can pull up a chair and hopefully be our Bill Synder (K-state coach who has been there forever and has his name on the stadium.)

I've heard Graham is moving to defense. Slot will be crowded with Myles, Gray, Dear, and Mixon.

I like Graham a lot, but I would be ok with this. He is extremely smooth and has good hips (mmhmm). He could provide some valuable talent at CB. Stamps and Smitherman are studs, but we're a little weak there with younger guys otherwise.
