I must've missed something, how does a kid from Senatobia go from committed to LSU to signing with Alabama? Were neither of the instate school after him hard?

Both were after him. He wanted to play for a traditional powerhouse

Nama, LSU, and OM was after him early. He has family ties to OM, but shook them off for LSU. I don't think we wanted to waisted our time against some those odds.

If we would have offered him as a Junior we probably would have landed him. But he did a whole lot of growing between his Junior and Senior year. Showed back up for Camps this year a completely different player, got lots of offers.

We were the first to offer. So offering earlier would have helped how? He didn't want to be here. That's pretty clear. Move on.
