I think playing time has the most to do with it. JUCO guys want to play and have an impact immediately.

With Miggins, as well as most JUCO's, it's all about playing time. And if it was me I could see where the path to play a lot right off the bat is better at KY than here. All things being equal, and he does like us btw, playing time is going to be a major part of where he goes. This is just a straight up recruiting and above board on all sides. We did a good job on him and he likes Turner.

You can only send out 25 packets if a kid you send a packet to signs with someone else you can send another one.. Before this year everybody sent out like 40 packets and if they got surprises made it work.. So it is possible that someone wouldnt send a packet

I have to say, I just really like the way Mullen handles recruiting in general. He's quick to say this isn't a game anybody's playing, the goal isn't to 'win' recruiting. These are young men's lives, and it's a huge decision for them. He also thanked everybody working on the recruiting show, just talked about how everybody plays a part in it.

He may not go after or attract some of the elite guys some want, but he goes after guys he wants, and generally speaking, we have a lot fewer questions on signing day than most programs.

Yep Miggins was going to compete for that 5th DT spot with Hoyette. Now it will be a battle between Hoyette, Moton, and Adams to be our 5th DT. Swain was the big loss at DT, not Miggins. Having said that, we can't afford an injury to our Top 4 guys.

That is correct but those schools are counting back some... I guess I should have said you can only send out as many letters as you actually have spots with 25 being the max for this year. The NCAA ended the days of sending out 100 packets and then if too many signed a kid getting screwed and forced to grey shirt or figure it out because school doesnt have a spot for them

Even worse a school would sign too many on purpose if they had a few grade risks that were studs.. Then if the stud got in they would take a kid and tell him in July sorry you have to grey shirt.. .and the kid had no options at that point

No, 25 is the limit any school can receive today... To exceed 25, it required midseason enrollees that signed FAA's and not NLIs...
