I just don't know how we're going to be successful if we don't get the #1 TE from Pennsyltucky. You can't win if you can't recruit nationally. You can look at each state's overall rankings on this page. I don't see a way to filter by both state and position; maybe someone else can provide a link to a service that does that.

Just noticed something when looking at those 247 MS rankings. USM's highest ranked commit out of MS is #43. Teams that have a MS commit ranked higher than USM's highest ranked guy....

i am not gonna lie, the three that make me scratch my head out of this whole class this year on us not getting were :
Gabe Campbell - OU
Ryan Gibson - Cal
Matt Womack - Bama

i really wanted Gibson. kid has a nasty streak, much like Dillon Day. I can somewhat understand Campbell, because supposedly he was an OU fan his whole life. Womack, however, that kid is a star gazer. i think he wanted to go as far as he could to whoever was the most prolific school that would take him. first us and OM, then LSU, and then when Bama came calling he answered the phone for them, as well. makes me think we may never see much of him. but could be wrong. I really hate we whiffed on Ryan Gibson though. dang it.

Didn't whiff on Gibson. We never really persued him for whatever reason. Considering Gibson is a center I'd say we got the better player in Darryl Williams.

Surfing other national recruiting sites, we are actually listed higher and over OM. 247 is the only one that has them over us.
