I'm in for giving him next year too and after the florida game I was ready to get rid of him immediately. We must keep playing like this though. Stricklin doesn't need to give him a contract extension and next year it's post season (NIT or NCAA )or bust .no excuses

Hopefully Malik is noticing the improvement. If I was Ray, I would be promoting the 3 guard lineup of Ready, Sword, and Newman with a couple of 6'8 guys down low in Ware and Black to rebound. A guard focused, up tempo offense similar to Jay Wright's 4 guard lineup that took Villanova to the elite 8 and nearly beat eventually national champ, UNC.

If Malik's only planning on playing one year we should still be a good option. We will have a ton of SRs next year ready to make a splash. Adding a talent like him for the year would push our ceiling up significantly.
