I'm going to go ahead and put my thoughts in writing. I think JT Gray goes down as one of the best defenders in MSU football history. I don't claim to be a scouting expert but every second he was on the field this past season he popped out as being a step quicker than anyone else. It reminded me a lot of Eric Berry in college.

Zach Jackson will be the number two guy in that spot... If Jung is ready to be a starter than JT will go to safety... If Jung at ready that JT will start and Jung will play special teams and limited role on defense... So Jung is either a starter or special teams guy next year.. No real in between IMO

He's a natural safety that should have played last year.

Hughes said he expects him to stay at LB. Maybe they'll reconsider in the spring but the plan now is to keep him at LB.

He runs fast and hits hard. I'd love to see him at safety and be another Morgan, Z Smith, Bonner, Whitley.

With Mannys Defense he may be all over the field.. Just because he is listed as A LB or S may not mean that much
