Yes, Apparently I lost my mind. People here in NWA were so stoked that I just assume it was the finals, wasn't paying all that much attention it seems.

However Arkansas did play in the finals under the old rules, and was NCAA runner up in 1979. Course they weren't in the SEC back then of course.
