Not sure what the big deal is anyway. Most true college fans that aren't totally naive know that is how business is done in big time college football recruiting for a lot of schools. Its nothing that OM invented but they do it well and are significantly more organized with it than most ever since Orgeron came along. MSU is a rogue amateur when it comes to coloring outside the lines in recruiting and it really prevents us from making any headway with upper level recruits not from MS. And if we try anything, due to our sloppiness, it always seems to get out and can be directly traced back to the MSU individual who provided something even though its usually peanuts compared to what most schools are enticing recruits with.

Everybody cheats. But they can't be reasonable about because they know that if they aren't making outrageous offers, over bidding, and providing huge bj parties, they won't get the recruit. There is no gentleman's agreement with them.
