If you watched the game, you would notice that he played out of his mind during the Senior Bowl. He helped out his draft stock more than just about anyone during the game, and impressed a lot of people. With this in mind, and if he gets some good looks at the combine, where do you think he ends up in the Draft? Could we possibly have two first-rounders in the NFL Draft this year?

I saw a mock that had both in 1st round. Btw Preston was a 2* (79 rating on 247)

Day was 2* (78 rating 247)

Clausell was 2* (78 rating 247)

We did pretty good job developing them

I'm pretty sure that was the nfl.com mock draft that had him 32nd to the Seahawks, with McKinney going late 20s to the Packers.

I agree but I think it had alot to do with the evaluation of guys in highschool. Not going after who ever Rivals think is a 5 stars.

I know better than to pre-judge what Jerry Jones will do in the draft, but multiple Dallas media types, including a retired scout who works on DallasCowboys.com (Bryan Broads, LSU guy as well) LOVE Preston Smith and tout his ability to play as a DT in the nickel or dime AND bring a pass rush. To me he passes the Jimmy Johnson test - he makes plays.

I love that the Cowboys have Cam Lawrence, but I would really like them to add some more Bulldogs. Particularly of first team caliber. Haven't had that since DD Lewis retired.
