I bet Coach O is crazy enough to think, that Les Miles would move on, and he would talk his way in to the Head job.

That Les Miles Clause was interesting. If Les Miles is no longer the coach, LSU is not responsible for paying an assistant any more money on his contract, after 6 months after Miles' departure. Coach O also has a buyout clause, where he would have to pay LSU 50% of his remaining salary if he took a coaching job at another SEC school and 20% for a non-SEC school.

I think he just wanted to coach at LSU. He said that many times. He has one kid at LSU and could have 2 more there, possibly.
