I thought he got injured on the football practice field for the bowl game. Did he actually get hurt playing basketball?

Not 100% sure if it was during bball or football practice. I just know his dad said on Twitter no more bball for Elijah bc it was too bad on his knees.

Basketball will destroy your knees if you mess up. I only played for a few years, but played on a bad court and I have knee and ankle issues because of it. You play on the wrong court and you can get a lot of problems. I'm not even 20 yet and my knees are horrible. Good call to quit if he is having severe knee issues. Basketball might be the worst sport for you knees overall.

Staley better be studying the shit out of the play book over the spring, because this now puts Fitz a full year ahead of Staley on the practice field although they are in the same class. Crazy idea but maybe we should have given Fitz mop up duty this year, we will have 5 scholarship QB's next year. A senior, a junior, two Redshirt freshman and a redshirting freshman, burning Fitz redshirt could have give him some good game experience for if Dak goes down next year( I would much rather see Fitz in there than Damien) and also burning his RS would have evened out our class distribution for the QB position.
