Hall to Biloxi? That's interesting because I figured he was done.

Bobby saw a chance to get a little closer to the casino action.... He may be broke within a year.... Arrogance, ego, anger issues and casinos are not a good mix.... Biloxi is one of the better paying jobs in the state.... So Old Bobby jumped on it. Lots of casino money in the school district.... He may struggle though, minimum feeder schools and dwindling talent pool in the area...

He must be desperate because Biloxi has little talent and with hnis arrogance, he will be run out of town in a hurry.

So much for the "Nationwide Search" the school board said they were going to conduct......

I can't believe the Rankin County School Board would approve this lateral move within the district to the rival school. Northwest has been in a funk ever since David Coates got busted for drugs, the Northwest team has been going down. Hurt was a major bust and was fired amid a little contreversy as well. Peterson came in and in year one, made NWR a respectable program again and headed in the right way. I would imagine there are some pissed off parents and kids that this has happened. Also with how Brad left Brandon, it's interesting that his cousin would follow in there. Brandon has some very good talent coming up and the parents there are all in for football which really can't be said at NWR. The facilities at both schools suck to be such big schools but the Brandon folks have stepped up to make it better. But was a no.brainer for Tyler to take it but still gonna make that game even more tense. I hope NW makes another great hire because my son is going in to the 9th grade next year and I don't want to have a sucky football team while he is going thru school

That got me to thinking - if it is, I was surprised when I saw that he was on the Georgia Tech coaching staff.

Are the high school booster clubs doing anything to help facilities? Reserved seat season tickets? Donation levels for reserved seat tickets? Fund raising? Basically, what colleges do on a much smaller level.

Let me guess...the wrestling, swimming, golf, volleyball, and such are cutting into the football money.

Regarding Hall, I don't know if I like him on the coast. We've recruited well on the coach. I'd rather he just retire.

That's the main problem. Too many booster clubs. Brandon was just starting to get it's act together under Petersen.

NWR is a whole different story. Baseball holds the purse strings.

There was a bond vote several years ago that failed. People just didn't want to pay 3.00 extra a year to have a new Football stadium and additions to the schools. That school district grows by 500 students a year. The thing is you have a lot of kids who goes to pearl and private schools who parents got out and voted against the bond.

I am joking about the 3.00 per year but it really wasn't going to be much to add new class rooms that is very badly needed and Brandon is playing in a 60 year old stadium.

I honestly don't know why NWR stays with the RCSD..I went to a game there last year and it looked like a 4a football stadium..I went to a game at Pearl, they separated a long time ago..There athletic facility's blows every school in the RCSD away...

What bugs me the most is Rankin is a large county with a lot of money. Weatherby needs to be defeated. Everyone complains about him but he keeps getting reelected.
