To me this is a fair preseason evaluation of where we are. I think like most of us probably do that we will be better than the 23rd best team in the country by the end of the season. But I can't get mad a D1 baseball having us out of the Top 25 because if you look at us objectively, we have a lot of questions that have to be answered in both our starting pitching and our lineup.

But this is a fair ranking for where we are at right now. We've got a lot to prove because we will be very young but I do think this team has a very high ceiling.

I can't get over how D1 baseball has Bama, A&M and Tennessee all ranked ahead of us.

I expect A&M to be pretty good, and UT will continue to improve. But yes, having all three of those teams ahead of both us and Arkansas is very strange.

College baseball preseason polls are almost useless though- nothing to get worked up about.
