Baseball talent

Florida is ranked 2nd by D1 baseball. Their projected lineup has 3 true freshman. Hitters not pitchers. Vandy has this kind of talent also. We are getting there. Huge for us to get that new stadium. We have 6 highly rated players by PG. These guys were ranked in top 300 by PG after HS. McCord, Swinarski, Collins, Hump, Hudson, and Sexton. 3 pitchers and 3 hitters. Watch this year to see how big an impact these guys have. We got 7 highly rated players signed for next year. We will lose hopefully only two of those, so let's say 11 highly rated players for 2016.

My thinking is the ratings guys are pretty good at the first 300 players at ranking them. Anyone this high has an immediate impact, like a 4 or 5 star in football.

2016 we have 8 commits, all ranked in top 500. The talent is coming. The new stadium will be built. Its a race to championships and we are getting better.

Good stuff. I think the key is just getting them to school. We've gotten kids like Vallot, but they've gone MLB.

I don't even worry about comparing us to Vandy, but we should soon be able to bring in kids like Florida does consistently.
