Hell yes. Good addition. A team we should beat in a Power 5 conference. Well done, Scott.

Not sure I'll be able to make it but that would be a great road trip early in the season. Good move.

Looks like we are scheduled at LA Tech in 2016. Should mean that Boston College travels to Starkville in '16 unless we are playing only 6 home games or we are moving the LA Tech game.
Excellent move... and a great choice...
is it a home/away two-fer or one game on a neutral site?

That would be a great road trip. Boston is a cool place.

How far is the football stadium from Fenway? Anyone know?

I'm glad Alabama approves of our schedule.**

As long as it's the season opener on the road with high(ish) expectations leading into the season*****

I've spent a pretty good amount of time in Boston...
The part of the city where the BC football stadium is at is probably about 5 miles from Fenway. Not far at all. I'd advise public transportation in Boston- they have a phenomenal subway/train system that is very easy to navigate. The city is so small in area that everywhere you need to go will just be a train ride and short walk away.

not an exciting matchup that will garner national attention but should be one we should easily win, so i'm all for it

Adding Boston College, NC State, Arizona, and Kansas State are great adds because we can/should beat all of them, but all of them are teams that are capable of having good seasons themselves, which could give us the Minnesota/TCU treatment. Now, I realize that TCU didn't get in the playoff, but many were pointing to that win over Minnesota as reason they should be in the playoff.

So, do we have an official source for this?

Are we sure it's BC because I'm still hearing it's BYU with a waiver from the SEC? Just trying to get confirmation.

Was this ever confirmed or denied?

After what BYU did vs. Memphis with all of the fighting, I would say no to them if I was Scott.

Memphis started the fight. And Memphid also finished it.
