Anyone know how he's doing? How his season went? I see where he was the #1 qb in TN.

He seems like a smart kid, well spoken, natural leader https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFsCUDmfJho

Comparing him vs the other SEC west QB recruits...he's by far the biggest @ 6'5 230. Bama has the #1 qb from Cali at 6'4 200. TXAM has a dual threat guy whose 5'10 180. Ark, OM, Aub have similar guys in 6'3 dual threat category. LSU doesn't have a qb in the class yet.

I see where Virgil is Fresno State bound now.

As for Nick, curious if anyone knows any more about him, stats, local articles, etc?

Can he move? We've seen how a non mobile QB works in Mullen's Offense.

Somebody posted a video awhile back, and it looked like he could move pretty good. Russell was so non fleet of foot, that we are all understandably scared of the word pocket passer.

One thing I can see is we'll need to work on his throwing motion. Looks like he 'winds up' a bit. Fix that and let him learn from Dak...we're all good.

generally when a recruiting service lists a kid as a dual threat or pro style/pocket passer it has as much to do with the offense the HS runs. It doesn't always mean that the kid is slow or can't run.

Yep, and it looks like this kid can run.

Mullen wanted Tiano. I beleive this entire class is filled with Mullen's 1st and 2nd choice scheme guys. So you have to think they are going to fit his offense and defense.

Not really Tiano, but I have been waiting for Mullen to take one of his quarterbacks and turn them into an All American reciever like Kentucky did wi Randal Cobb. One of these superior athletes are going to change MSU forever.

If Mullen wants you at QB he thinks you're a good QB he's not looking to move you. He's very picky about what he likes in QB's. A kid like Lamar Jackson is a kid that could/would be a great WR but Mullen would let him know upfront not try to trick him into getting on campus.
