Moultry knee! May be old news but I just heard about it.

Who is it?

Not that I am aware of, but if it is true then so much for the old adage about baseball players being smart enough to not get caught.

Cohen is relatively strict when it comes to behavior depending on what it is- he kicked Ethan Bright off the team about five years ago.

I'd just as soon not mention names in case it's not true, I see nothing good about spreading false rumors. It's not one of our projected starters if that helps.

Alot of false rumors are rampant right now. Not saying this one is or isn't.

You have to either be a dumb ass or an attrition candidate to get popped. Either way, a first positive is 10% of the season -- or just missing the first 6 games. Hardly notable for a pitcher and unlikely to ever come out if true. So, we should just drop it IMO...

I agree, probably shouldn't have even mentioned it. I believe it's true, per my source he has been " kicked off the team". I didn't ask if it was permanent or temporary.

If that ends up being the case -- it was someone Cohen already wanted gone...

I just checked the website. Public domain like this. Zach Randolph is not on the roster. He is not a pitcher.

As long as the pitcher we lost wasn't....

Brown
McCord
Hudson
Tatum
Sexton
Mitchell
Laster
Young

We should be able to survive it

I am assuming Randolph will be a student/coach and will still be on the "team". Maybe he couldn't come back from his injury. When they released the roster it was at 39, not its 38. Got to be 35 by opening day. I suspect freshman pitcher Mahoney will be redshirted. He had Tommy John last year.

Yes, but I'm pretty sure that was his choice and he wasn't kicked off the team for any wrongdoing.

He did. But that was a while back and to be honest it was prolly the best move for him.
