It has seemed that way his whole career to me. He had the excuse of playing the whole game previously. Again, expected him to grow out of it and us to not see that anymore once he had guys behind him. And it hasn't changed.

We're a long way from a real turning point, and I don't care like I used to as a fan whether we win or lose, but if the guys can compete and really improve, I could get closer to happy. I don't see any point in these how many wins to keep Ray stuff. He's not at that level, we're not. We just need to put a team on the floor that plays with passion and intelligence, a team that is in the game, like it is now.

I never understood how he's such a great recruiter, but doesn't command much respect among many of his actual players. What changes between the time they like him enough to join his team and actually start playing? It can't be that he goes hardass disciplinarian on them, that's obvious judging by 2009-2012.
