Seems like a good hire. Should be a great gig...can't get much worse than our Volleyball program has been the last several years. They make Rick Ray look competent.

What I like about this hire is 1) he seems to have accomplished a lot with little and 2) he's from this part of the country so he'll be inclined to stay for awhile (hopefully).

From a hiring perspective, he's had one clear misstep, and he's turned over volleyball, wbasketball, mbasketball, softball, mtennis, and soccer... Mtennis is wait and see since we promoted from within IMO...

Couple of former players told me it was a bit of a head scratcher. They expected a sitting head coach to be hired since we had become top 20 team.
