Back-to-back games against mid level sec teams have ended in overtime. Is the sec much better than thought or what?

We might not win a game in sec play if this conference is much improved unless we start hitting shots

If I had to rank the SEC at this point I would put Tennessee somewhere between 9-11 and we lost to them by 14 at home . It was one of our better opportunities to win a conference game this year .

KY is good, but I don't see the same level of guard play they've had in the past. They still don't have a true point guard.

Ulis is. The problem today is they haven't been able to figure out the zone. Until recently they hadn't been attacking the middle. Now they are and are scoring

The fouls/free throws that make up such a huge part of the sport is why I am just turned off to basketball. Football has penalties, sure but that is limited. And baseball is as straight up as it gets.

Calipari is just messing with folks heads right now. Trying to prop up the conference so he can say how good we are and try to get some credibility for their up and coming 18-0 regular season and 3-0 SEC tourney. He has had to answer some critics in recent years about weak the SEC is.***

So many of you have been talking about 6 SEC wins and trying to get to .500 in league play, I've been wondering what the hell you saw that I didn't. I've been wondering for weeks if we'd win an SEC game at all. The only one I'd feel fairly confident about is TSUN in the Hump. Just because, much like football, home court means a ton when we play them. Other than that, I don't see an SEC game where we'll be favored to win.

Kentucky shot like 30% from the field and 67% from FT line. I think they're playing to the level of competition.

I seen it dawg

We have 3 more winnable games: OM at home, Vandy at home, and Mizzou at home

Ole Miss and Vandy seem to both be improving so we will have to play like we did vs Fla St to win those games. Mizzou is probably our best chance but that is the last game of the year and we might have already quit by then if we go on in with 0 or 1 win. Your right , going 0-18 is much more possible than 6-12

They'll stink the joint up when they play us then.

Stansbury always knew how to build a game plan against KY. He didn't often win, and it often depended on refs getting involved to make sure we didn't, but he would generally coach his best game of the season against them. I didn't watch the game yesterday, but suspect he had been building a game plan for weeks helping A&M get ready.

UK lost Poythress for the year. He's a big glue guy for them. They are worse without him.
