I know it's not MSU, but RIP Stuart Scott. A class act who brought some life to Sportscenter.

You were always as cool as the other side of the pillow.

He also invited everybody to throw their hands in the air and wave them around as if there were no repercussions.

I remember when he started at espn about 20 years ago. He did change the attitude and perspective of sportscasters. Dude was definately as cool as the other side of the pillow.

Dang, sad news. I grew up watching Stuart make Sportscenter more than just sports news...he was entertaining. RIP Stuart.

Growing up I would watch sportscenter over and over again each morning during the summers, as each hour it would repeat itself, he was the only way to make that possible, without getting tired of it. He was one of a kind.

I too had these same vivid memories. There was a period where I got kind of tired of him, but came to realize how good he was and the impact he had kind of revolutionizing sports TV.

If you've never watched his Espy speech, do yourself a favor and watch. If you've seen it before, you know you can never see it enough.

Thanks. I wasn't planning on crying today, but you just ruined that.

Stuart was my favorite broadcaster for sure. As Rich Eisen said in the video, I can't believe it's past tense.
