Severe weather event becoming more likely. Last few model runs have been trending towards a higher level event. The biggest question is what form the severe weather comes in. Some models are trending to a squall line event with a limited tornado threat, but others are showing discrete supercell event which would carry a higher tornado threat. Timing looks to be noon to 6:00pm for the eastern part of the state.

Agreed. Tomorrow is definitely a day that you don't want to be on the road too much.

And my mom has a funeral to go to at 1:00. Told her to keep her phone on vibrate and handy.

I'll be watching it all day. I might put a thread up in here for the event.

What time are you expecting it to hit the central MS area? Considering hunting in the morning, but I'm not going in a rain storm.

Hmmm... I get to work this weekend doing home health traveling all over the state. This could get interesting.

Will this affect the Carolina and Pittsburgh home playoff games tomorrow?
