For what it is worth -
"LSU: NOLA.com reports Les Miles has reached out to former USC defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast about LSU?s defensive coordinator job. In addition, Alabama linebackers coach Kevin Steele and former USC head coach Ed Orgeron are being considered, but Orgeron tells NOLA.com he?s not interested at this time."

God I hope not. He was the dc at clempson when they gave up 77 and 700 yds to WVU a couple of years ago. Was also a failed coach at Baylor Is be ok with him as a lb coach but not as a dc

Honest question guys, I wanna believe we are gonna get a homerun hire at DC, but whats you guys percentage chance we botch this hire? I say 60%

If Stricklin was hiring them....95% chance we botch it. Mullen has made decent hires, so I'll say about 10% chance Mullen botches it

I don't think Scott will try to have any input as far as who we hire. I'm just saying Scott can kill a hire if it cost too much

For the record -- Scott is 2 of 3 on hires we've had time to evaluate. So, he hits about as often as Mullen does.
