We have a three and out and then an interception with our first team defense. We put in the back ups and they drive right down the field. Don't say it doesn't have anything to do with who is in the game.

See my stats for the first half:

1A = 7 points allowed on four drives.

1B = 14 points allowed on two drives. A LOT of that is on Evans though on the second drive.

I am watching this and i see gt's success being due to situational playcalling. They arent playing predictably in 3rd down situations.

Our last offensive drive is an example of not being predictable.

Sometimes cause and effect doesnt fit convrntional wisdom.

I do hate the wholesale subbing though.

I'm a skeptic of platoon subbing, save the DL.... but if Mullen is gonna continue to do that, he's gonna need to get a lot more talent on campus...

is his motive to keep the 1A's fresh... are they not conditioned???

Explanation os that you are the windshield or you are the bug. Our d is playing to react. A's B's whatever. Convenient excuses.

Cant tell our fans that though. We need an excuse that applies to all situations in all games and we can apply for years.

Either you plan to stop a teams strength like bama, om and gt have done on us or you play as if one aize fits all.
