I don't think they give a shit, Ohio State was getting in there and it didn't matter. I didn't want to believe it when ESPN started pumping Ohio State middle way thru, but it came to pass. That whole, "we give a lot of weight to conference champions" is put in there specifically for the Ohio States of the world I think.
