Take Shannon off the list.

Lsu fans seem to think O could be headed there.

If O falls thru, who then?

I've never thought it would be any of those listed here. Maybe I'm wrong.

Need to take Orgeron, Pendergast, and John Baxter...

Wild Boys SEC edition!

I really don't see LSU hiring a guy who has never been a DC. The general consensus at work here in BR is they may burn down the AD's house if they hire O as DC

Pendergast (sp) ??

If I could choose anyone, he'd be my choice. I just don't see it happening

With all the open DC jobs, I won't be surprised if we end up with Joe Kines. Or Townsend is promoted to DC. Something along those lines.

I was against O at first but I hope the rumors are true now. We have a signed agreement with him.

LSU doesn't need help on the recruiting front. That's the biggest thing O brings to the table. I don't think that's a fit.

That would make more sense, but would you go as a D-line coach to LSU, or DC / co-DC at MSU if you are O?

You really think anyone doesn't want/need to recruit better?

Lsu would pay more him more for a lesser position. Does he want money or power? Answer that and there's where he goes imo

Since Shannon took the job at Florida, I think its safe to say we have found our guy already and told Shannon to move on.

Pendergrast was on staff at the Cowboys when Miles was there. Something to think about.

This would be awful. Add him to the sec west without subtracting chavis. Oh and you have muschamp at auburn. Oh and mullen can't seem to solve wommack

Like you say, LSU doesn't need help on the recruiting front. He would be a better fit at State as co-DC, but who knows what he would prefer? Of course, this is all speculation. We don't know whether or not Mullen has even talked to Orgeron. Hopefully, he has. I think he would be a tremendous addition to the staff.

With Shannon out, it lends credence to Coach O being the DC. If Coach O had a change of heart and went to LSU, my guess is we would go back to Manny.

LSU doesn't need help recruiting? Have you watched them play at all this year?

You ALWAYS need help recruiting. Especially when 5 or 6 of Bama's best players are from LSU's back yard -- and a few of aTm's are as well... The fence has been down around Louisiana for awhile now...

Wait, are you saying Jimmy's and Joe's mean more than X's and O's?
