Notre Dame just dominated the line of scrimmage on that first drive. They were pounding the LSU DT's.

That's surprising. I figure LSU will kill then.

Some talk that Chavis to aTm is a very real possibility...

LSU sure is playing uninspired defense right now...

LSU can't get off the field on 3rd down. ND is 7 of 9 on 3rd downs and several have been 3rd and longs. They also converted a 4th on 9 on a QB scramble. No emotion from the LSU D except from Rasco.

I bet Kelly has treated this game like the national title whereas Miles is getting ready for next season. Also, Jennings is not good. LSU has got to find a QB if they want to compete for the West next year.

How do you run a fake there instead of handing to Fournette? Les is a joke in game coach.

The was one of the worst reviews I have ever seen. I was blatantly obvious that he got in. I am baffled. They keep saying you couldn't see his knees, but his knees were easily visible between the Notre Dame players and neither knee was on the ground.

yeah, why can those TV guys not tell that the knee was down after the ball broke the plain. Pretty clear.

I wonder if the replay guy is influenced by the bumbling idiots in the TV booth or is it sound proof?

That was obviously a TD. Notre Dame brought the replay guy evidently.

Reviews are just so random. How can that NOT be overturned which was clear on where the ball was (and could be synced with when the knee was down) while the call where we played AL there was no clear angle on where the ball was and WAS overturned? Replay calls haven't helped nearly as much as I thought they would when first implemented given reviews are just as random as calls on the field.

The "replay guy" is really Lou Holtz.

Disagree -- it was open, and I don't think Kragthorpe executed it very well. Even still, he got in.

I agree. That is about the 3rd bad review I have seen this bowl season. These reviews remind me of years ago on the David letterman show. He would have a guest talking about their movie. He would say here is a clip of the movie. Then you would get a clip of chris elliot eating cereal. i think these refs are reviewing clips of chris elliot eating cereal.

Hell even Brian Kelly said they were looking for it. Either take the 3 or run your horse. I agree that Kragthorpe took it in like a wuss.

They were looking for it and got no one on the play. Kragthorpe is so unathletic he fell down. And still got in.

We use it, but LSU's run/pass ratio is much higher than ours and Jennings really sold that fake. Dak usually just takes one step and throws it.

False the one step then drop back still has pass blocking which is an obvious read for the secondary. That play had the run block (like we actually ran too much vs TSUN in obvious circumstances)

I also want us to use the zone read pop pass like Malzahn used a lot. These are easy wrinkles that we stubbornly refuse to use. Our lack of creativity on offense down the stretch was appalling.

The pop pass is one of those things I want to see Dak master. I think that's where having Jameon hurt really hurt our entire offense this past year.

No reason Gabe Myles couldn't have done the same thing. Its the willful vanilla that I just cannot grasp.

What is Les Miles doing? I can't believe he tried a long FG with a shaky kicker on 4th and short. Terrible decision.

He's much smaller than both. If either of ours can run the zone read as well as Zaire, I'll be thrilled

cant believe miles tried that long FG on 4th and short and punted on 4th and 1 on their last possession when their defense couldn't stop ND. And the awful fake FG to end the first half. They just let the SEC down and cost me some $$$

they were far from the number 1 defense. Ole Miss, Bama, and even Arkansas had better defenses that LSU this year. LSU had good yardage stats b/c they play so much ball control on offense.
