Kind of worries me a little because Freezus is desperate with us being ahead of them and them having very deep pockets.

Ole Miss coaches: Please print and send to Peters immediately. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I saw that yesterday on OM Rivals - sounds like bait. How did the bait taste?

LOL. Good luck with that.

Probably just the Bassfield kids they signed last year just running their mouths. Folks, this recruitment has been over for a while.

They do this every year- start a bunch of rumors to incite panic.

It seems every thread you start is OM related.

them having very deep pockets.

I love this fallacy that we help perpetuate for them.

No doubt they have some wealthy alums. But so do we.

What they do have that we apparently don't is an organized plan to spend on matters such as recruits.

O wrote the playbook for them...and that playbook will be in Sville after the bowl game

Is that a guarantee he'll be at state?

I had lunch with my attorney and his associate last Monday. Both UM grads.

To them ( I can only speak for them but the sample I bet is representative) O in Starkville is their worst nightmare.

A rival head coach who can actually "coach up" players who despises them. Their former head coach on their rival's staff who "is the best recruiter in the business" who despises them.

O taught Bucky everything Bucky knows but not everything O knows.

To quote my friend Jim Ross, "business is about to pick up."

Pretty much spot on. UM is a poor school. We are too, but we have as many, if not more resources than they do. They are a little more organized, but that's only a product of them giving a darn about football for longer than we have.

little tricks and over reacts. They're going to have to come up with something else.

Same response from my OM buddies at the Christmas Eve party. Kind of makes me lean toward hope to hiring him now.

While I don't believe this rumor, I'll feel much better about our commitments when we hire a DC. I'd imagine defensive recruits would like to know who they'll be playing for

This will go down just like Chris Jones, except Ole Miss is not involved.

Guys, what's the old saying? If mama ain't happy, no one is happy. Well mama is extremely happy with his choice. I'm not worried in the least, I'm sure he takes a visit or two, but it won't be to Ole Miss.

Exactly. Our only real competition here is LSU. He has an official visit the weekend after he comes to Starkville. OM is not even gettin a visit

I think its funny that some people pick and choose things and use it to make themselves worry. Half the people here think Elijah staley will never play bc of his Twitter, yet think jamal will flip even tho his Twitter is all about state and he tweeted just the other day that he wants to get up here now. Jamal is a dawg through and through. Don't forget what camp's arm sleeve and socks he wore during his high school games. Big dawg. No need to even consider worrying

Yep. We're going to start seeing guys do hat flips to MSU, planned flips to MSU- all the crap that they do. It's going to make Fredo flip out.

Nah, heard Adam sandler was staying one more year and Kelly got pissed that he wasn't going start. Something like threatening to spray them with his toothbrush shank.

Just saw where Leo Lewis tweeted he was flying down to Florida today. Does anyone know if he's headed to the Orange Bowl? Thought this was interesting! Bears better worry about their own commits...

Under Armour All-American game in St. Petersburg is Jan 2. He'll be 3.5 hours from Miami.

I hope Peters leads the Bears on, collects $75K of Bear cash, signs with MSU, and then hammers the Bears for the next four years.

If I was an elite recruit that's what I would do. Take their money and then sign with MSU. What are they going to do? Turn themselves in to the NCAA?
