Let's see if Coach O gets mentioned as DC there.

What's this board's opinion on which DC job is more attractive?

MSU of the South. Better conference, local talent, and weather

True, but double-edged sword. Much harder to win in the SEC West.

Not sure. I think working under mark dantonio would be a very attractive option for a DC. Working under dantonio would always cast doubt as to whether you (DC) or dantonio is responsible for defensive success though

Our job is better without a question.

A reason why that could be a great fit for O. Dantonio can cover for his defensive scheming/play-calling, and get a world-class recruiter.

They pay double what we've thusfar shown ourselves willing to pony up...

It depends on how you define better...

Don't be absurd! You know damn well he's going as the OC, not the DC!

I think our job is more attractive. At MSU up north, the program is built on great defense (more pressure to perform). Mullen can usually score enough points to make our DC's job a little easier.

Outside of Ohio State, the B1G offenses are worse right now though, aren't they?

Big 10 has 3 teams in top 20 scoring offense: Ohio state, Michigan state, and Nebraska

Sec has 3 teams in top 20 scoring offense: Georgia, miss state, and Alabama.

Not saying these conferences are equal.
