Bad deal for him and the Nats. He needs to be a DH. He's a AAAA player.

Well it's just a minor league deal and an invite to camp. No harm there. At best (for him), he'd be a power bat off the bench...what power he has left.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the nats resign asdrubal and let Espinoza be the D replacement, while also backing up SS and 3B. 2B is the only position up in the air for the nats right now.

Dan Uggla hasn't officially been told he's on team, but #Nats would have to acquire somebody else in next 24 hours for him not to make it.

Did the Nats ownership think team strikeouts were not high enough last season?

So at best he's a part time player at 2B (along with Espinosa) while Escobar fills in at 3B with rendon out for 3 weeks.

Things would have to really go south for him to approach 200 ABs.

The Mets are going to be good this year - much improved offensively, plus they moved in their fences, plus they have a starting rotation to rival Washington.

Miami will be improved too but I don't think they will contend for the division.

Just play him against the Braves and he'll be an All Star in those 18 games. He always killed the Braves when he was with the fish.
