Playing at a smaller school that doesn't play against D1 talent limits your access to scouts. I'm glad we noticed him.

He plays at a small school, probably didn't go to a lot of camps. Every year there is a o-line prospect just like him.

Ripley is 4A that's not a small school. However it's not near anything.

I don't know anything about him so I haven't asked. I've gotten to where I only try to keep up with some of the big names to see where we stand- and I know who to ask when I have questions.

We we have a couple of recruiting gurus here- they seem to think we will. Hev is good at spotting guys like this- so if we offer- I expect him to be ready to play in 3 years

Like someone mentioned before he will get an offer but the coaches don't want him to be talked about too much bc they think he'd blow up. The staff likes him just as much or more than Elgton Jenkins last year.

Good question. I haven't seen a recent interview with him in months but USM recruiting has a lot of people confused. A lot of the 2nd tier players in the state they used to live off of this staff isn't efen offering. Guys like Minshew, Darrell Henderson, Raphael Leonard, etc are guys they should be all over but aren't.

Yeah, he did. If we offer, he will commit on the spot. And there's no one that would try to flip him or if they did, they wouldn't have success. So I guess, we are just keeping an eye on the numbers.
