I know we are mad about not finishing strong or winning the Egg Bowl, but just think about where Mullen has taken us. 5th straight bowl game. Number 1 ranking for over a month, 9-0 start and a 10 win season, game day in town for the Auburn game. He's done this in a town and at a school people have made fun of for a very long time and a lot of people have recognized just how much he's transformed our program and our school.

We were a nothing burger in the world of college football. Now we matter. Now people don't come in to Starkville and worry about us being a trap game. The people teams play before and after us are now the trap games. It's nice to see him get rewarded for what he has done because if you look objectively at where we were when he got here, we were very arguably the worst job in the SEC.
