made every ill-advised fake punt done by Mullen and/or Tubberville look like strokes of genius. That fake attempt by the Colts was a laughable disaster.

The call was perfect. The guy just dropped the ball. He catches it, it's a 20 yard gain

It was the right call IMO. Dude was left all alone. Cowboys were baiting them to try it and it worked because dude took his eyes off the ball and flat out dropped it. Cowboys were willing to give up the 1st down to see if that would happen. Next play. BOOM. Best wr in football makes another great catch look simple for 14-0 lead

Most fake calls are perfect until they don't work - I still reply the ones Dan tried against UF.

It wasn't his call. The guy guarding the gunner left him and went to the line leaving him wide open. Colts made the audible and the guy just dropped it.

Yeah I assume it was just an audible by someone on the field since the gunner was completely wide open and he just choked

Perfect call..
You can actually see what looks like the punter check off to it.
The terrible coaching was by the cowboy ST coach to leave the guy uncovered and wide open..

It ended up being a great call by the Dallas ST coach. Scandrick was there to make the tackle. Could've given up a first down at the Dallas 30 yd line worst case. A punter throwing a pass to a special teams guy? What could go wrong? All he had to do was catch it and fall down and it was a first down. Instead Dallas gets the ball at its own 20 and goes up 14-0 early in the first. Huge gutsy call by both teams and it ended up leading to the blow out and division title for the COWBOYS!!!
