Today is ray's most important game to date. The honeymoon is over and a loss today could be a deathblow to the season and ray's tenure at state.

Can Ray get his team to respond? We'll find out. Does his team have any heart? We'll find that out too

Upstate will not be intimidated at all. They've already played at Maryland, at Memphis, at Ga Tech, and at UCF this year. All the games were fairly close and they beat GA Tech. They also won at South Carolina last year. Ray has his hands full and it will take a very strong effort to win this game.

Coincidentally, our demise started about the same time sword came back. We're 1-4 since Craig's return. The 1 win was sword's first game back (st Louis) and most his mins were in mop up duty I believe. Sword is clearly not right and he's killing us right now. I love sword, but I'd severely limit his mins

Sword started playing better in the 2nd half vs Oregon State...and thats also when we started making our run...we have to have him playing well. If he can turn it on- this team can be decent.

I hate to say it but I think we would play better without a head coach the remainder of the year. Take Ray off the sidelines and we might actually play better. It's obvious that his best teams were stans leftovers and his recruits who hadn't been down developed. Let the assistants coach the remainder and see what happens. At least we would have a minor explanation of why we look like a Bad Juco team.

in a 3 guard front or as a small forward? very different. his skill set is a million times more important than an inch or two. he's a slasher who can attack the basket. you have to guard him on the perimeter, but he's not a 2 type shooter. He provides a different dynamic and can attack the Rim and create off the dribble. he compliments a more complete scorer (the 2). He's not a complete scorer. He's not a 1 either. I don't think I need to explain that though.

Not going into specifics on a public board, but the info is from a credible source. A possible biased source only seeing things from one side admittedly, but credible. The story reminds me of the Taite/Moulds situation with the respect that the players don't want to pass him the ball. No boning of the other's girlfriend to my knowledge.

I wonder this often and the only answer is that not a damn one of them has brains worth a shit. None of them have any physical limitations whatsoever yet they still haven't been able to teach themselves how to shoot. They don't understand the shooting motion and it's one of the easier crucial sports muscle memory motions to learn correctly. The golf swing for example is a whole heck of a lot harder to master than the shooting motion is. We need smarter players guys.

Wasn't even Clemson's top assistant on top of that. About 90% of the fan base thought it was a bad hire but our AD didn't. Make me wonder if ther needs to be a change there the same time we replace RR.
