I'm gonna post his offer list...and out of all that these he chooses Fresno State? Some of these people HAD to have rescinded their offer.

True offers are rarely posted. Most kids don't even understand what a real offer is.

Maybe it's a confidence issue. He may be looking at the depth charts and choosing the path of least resistance

That and the fact that he had shut down his recruitment, so most of the early offers he had had moved on and filled their QB needs. So he had to settle for a lesser offer.

Apparently he picked up an offer from Louisville after we dropped him. If it's a true offer, I'd take it. Petrino is a great coach for qb's

Could also be that some of the offers were as an "athlete" and he wants to play QB. Usually when a player chooses a lower status school there are a few reasons:

1) Closest to home
2) Guaranteed early playing time
3) Told he can play the position he wants to play
4) Nookie

It's probably about staying at the QB position, I'd guess that most of the offers were targeting him as an athlete as Irondawg mentioned.

Oklahoma as well. There is also an MSU connection at Fresno currently. Maybe we made a call
