I really can't even watch this team play. I want them to be decent so badly. The individual talent is there, not top notch by any means but you can see spurts of individual talent. The depth is there now. But the result on the court is not. We play lazy and sloppy on defense and struggle to find good shots on offense. I hope they figure it out and have a NIT worthy season, but at this point I just don't see it happening.

If you're a coach and you see players who don't understand that on offense you need to screen and cut off the defense off the ball in a motion set, then you need to teach them. We have guys who have been here as long as ray has. Neither them nor ray have learned to do that. I have patience w him bc the guys usually play hard for him, and there's something to be said for that, but at some point you gotta show that you can be effective as an offensive coach too.
