6 yr/ 49 million$ contract
That would make him highest paid coach in all of football.
Saban makes 7.3m
Pete Carroll makes 8.0m
Sean Peyton makes 8.0m

Michigan is desperate but I think this move is necessary if they want ANY chance at getting back to a national power.

No we aren't.

A handful of programs will live in the stratosphere with their revenue and budgets.

The next groups is a large number of very well off schools by virtue of being members of the Power 5.

Then there is everybody else.

We will never have a coach that a top 5-6 program wants to take from us. But we can have pretty much anybody else. We'll be fine with that.

They won't pay Mullen that much, or anyone else other than Harbough or maybe Saben.
