View Full Version : Why are scholarship limits usually less than roster limits?

Why can't they just set the scholarship limit at the roster limit in all sports? If it's all about Title IX, then just make sure you hand out the same for both men and women.

I should write a stongly worded letter to the NCAA.

I don't know, but I wish the scholarship limit was 60. We'd have a much better shot at winning sec.

They have to account for walk-ons.

I think what they should do is look at pro sports and base it off of that.

MLB- 25 man rosters, so give college teams 25 scholarships.

I do think an exception should be made for football because it generates so much money. I think they should leave that where it is.
