Seriously, why are our basic baserunning fundamentals SO bad? In 9 innings of the CWS we have now lost 3 baserunners running from 2nd to 3rd on balls to the left side of the infield (2 in the first inning of this game and 1 in the first inning of the last game). There is putting pressure on the defense and then there is being stupid, that is just being stupid.

Renfroe and Detz made baserunning mistakes you learn in Little League. Mingione does some questionable shit for sure- but that wasnt on him. 20 yr old people cant make those mistakes

Can't believe we're 1 win from playing for national title

Gentlemen, we just made the final four.

I've followed a few teams that have won chamionships and this team has something in common with those.

1) We have playmakers.

2) We have a lot of role players that can step up.

3) Depth, depth, depth

4) And most importantly, we're loose and confident. We don't get too high and don't get too low. We always believe that we can win.

We've got a hell of a shot at this thing. I'd put more than 50% odds on it.
