A win tonight could put us a win away from an appearance in the National Championship game. Are you ****ing kidding me?!

7-0 now, so I guess it doesn't matter who we want to win. I would love to beat Indiana's ass and then have them beat OSU, but I have a feeling one way or another we will have to beat OSU again.

Isn't the championship round best 2 out of 3?

And...I'm calling this a world championship. Because they don't call it the College National Series.

I'm just taking it ONE game at a time because I've seen this script enough times to realize that EVERY win in the CWS is very difficult and is a major accomplishment and there is no use in looking ahead. This is our 9th time here and we've only won our first 2 games ONCE in all those 9 times ('85) and then we promptly lost 2 in a row. Getting a win tonight would be huge but its going to be tough to get. And if we do the next one to get to the championship round will likely be even tougher.

Me, too! I don't know if I have ever wanted MSU to win a sporting event of any kind as much as I want this one tonight. Even the SEC Championship game in '98 against UT. Well, maybe that one. And the Final Four game against Syracuse. But even those 2 are a close call with me when compared to the game tonight.

Oh yeah. Hail State!!
