DWS on-field recognition and game atmosphere

We all know commercials have killed the atmosphere at DWS.

Another buzz kill is the endless recognition of people on the football field during timeouts. We're so cramming stuff into timeouts that the PA guy is talking really fast to get all the info in before the game starts back up. I'm all for making significant recognitions as long as they are so significant to justify slowing down the DWS atmosphere.

One such example would be recognizing our baseball team for beating LSU in the CWS championship round to win the school's first ever world championship. How sweet would it be to do that during the LSU football game. Wow.... :-)

It's ridiculous and cannot continue. Do the who gives a shit recognitions an hour before the game or not at all and get rid of the commercials. It's simple, just show a silent billboard ad on the screen while music is in the background.

Just replicate Arkansas 2010 atmosphere and roll.

This. I hate the recognition crap. Do it before. Or cut into the band time and do it at the half.
